FAQs

Booking & the studio

How do I book? All appointments are booked through Fresha — choose your treatment and a time that suits you. Not sure which treatment is right? Email me first at lauralaw.studio@gmail.com and I'll point you the right way.

Where are you based? Unit 5D, Millennium Court, 5–9 Burns Street, Glasgow, G4 9SA. The studio is by appointment only.

Do you take walk-ins? No — everything is by appointment, so I can give each client my full attention and tailor the session to you on the day.

How do I pay? Payment is handled securely through Fresha at the time of booking, or by card in the studio.

What's your cancellation policy? Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel.

What are your opening hours?

Face treatments

What is Sculptural Face Lifting? A manual, hands-on facial that works the muscle of the face, neck and décolletage to lift your contours, refresh tired features and restore a defined, rested look — no needles, no machines, no chemicals.

What is buccal massage? A focused technique that works the facial muscles from inside the mouth, with medical-grade gloves, to release deep jaw and masseter tension. It eases clenching and TMJ tightness while sculpting the cheekbones and jawline.

Does it hurt? Is there any downtime? No. The work is firm but comfortable, and there's no downtime — you can go straight back to your day. Some people notice a little warmth or colour in the skin afterwards, which settles quickly.

How long do results last, and how often should I come? You'll see a lift straight away. For a one-off event, a session in the few days beforehand is ideal; for a lasting change, most clients come every few weeks to build and maintain the result.

Is this "nature's botox"? It's my natural alternative to it — structural rejuvenation by hand, working the muscle and fascia rather than freezing them. No needles, no chemicals; just a real, visible lift. It isn't a medical or injectable treatment.

Lymphatic drainage & recovery

What is lymphatic drainage, and who is it for? Gentle, light-touch work that helps your body move stored fluid and reduce swelling. It's ideal for puffiness and fluid retention, that heavy, sluggish feeling, and — very often — recovery after surgery. You leave visibly lighter and more comfortable.

I've had surgery — when can I start post-operative drainage? Always follow your surgeon's guidance on timing; they'll tell you when it's safe to begin. Once you're cleared, hands-on drainage is one of the gentlest ways to help clear swelling and bruising and support your recovery. Many clients are referred by their surgeon or consultant.

Do you offer packages? Yes — including a pre & post-operative package (a preparation session plus a short course of recovery drainage). You'll find the current options on the Treatments and Book pages.

Is there anything I should tell you before booking? Yes — if you're pregnant, recovering from surgery or a medical procedure, or have any medical condition (for example issues with circulation, blood pressure, infection or the skin), please mention it when you book so I can tailor the session or advise if it isn't suitable. If in doubt, check with your GP or surgeon first.
